Welcome to Humnspace. By downloading or using Rook software, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Free Software License

Rook is provided free of charge by Humnspace. Humnspace grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable perpetual license to install and execute Rook on your devices.

2. Free Software Distribution & Analytics Disclosure

Free Download & Anonymous Telemetry Notice

Rook is distributed 100% free with no account creation, registration, or login required. Upon clicking Download, an automated download of the RookSetup.exe installer binary is delivered directly.

To maintain accurate aggregate usage statistics (download counts, country, and region metrics), our download servers anonymously log regional metadata (such as country code and city) derived from connection headers. No personally identifiable information (PII), names, or emails are collected.

3. Windows Desktop Exclusive (Mobile Restrictions)

Rook is a native 64-bit desktop command workspace engineered strictly for Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs:

Desktop PCs Only: Download must be executed on a Windows PC.
Mobile Devices (iOS / Android): Mobile web browsers cannot run Windows .exe installers.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Rook for personal, commercial, or professional software development and productivity automation. You may not:

Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the binary files.
Hotlink binary assets or unauthorized re-distribution without attribution to Humnspace.

5. Updates & Support

Your lifetime license includes access to all future feature updates, bug fixes, and performance enhancements released for Rook without additional charges.

6. Open Source & Licensing

Rook is 100% free and open-source software. You are free to inspect, modify, and build the source code directly from our GitHub Repository.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rook is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Humnspace does not warrant that software operations will be completely uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Humnspace be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
